Zohrab breeds sheep for meat and wool, and serves local butchers. He has more than ten years of experience in this field, thank to his father who taught him how to look after cattle. He receives a pension from the government every month, but it is too low to cover the family's costs.
Zohrab usually buys lambs, raises and fattens them in 4 to 6 months and resells them for a profit in the local livestock market. Selling mutton and wool brings in about 180 AZN per month. Meat is a very popular product in Azerbaijan since people use it in national dishes, such as pilaf and dolma.
He is the sole provider of his family and does not make enough income to cover the basic needs of his beloved children. Zohrab is requesting a 2000 AZN loan to purchase twenty sheep and fodder. This will be his second loan from AqroInvest and he has a good client history.
