Mariam a laissé l’école en classe de 8ème année fondamentale (Système Éducatif Malien) pour mener les activités d’achat et vente de condiments, apprise auprès de sa mère qui vendait du poisson séché et des condiments au marché Château. Mariam a 8 ans d’expérience et jouit d’une grande réputation et clientèle. Elle reçoit fréquemment des commandes venant de Bamako.
Pour augmenter son fonds dans le souci de faire face à la demande clientèle et de renforcer son commerce, elle a fait recours à Soro Yiriwaso avec qui elle est en relation depuis 48 mois. Après 4 prêts individuels correctement bien remboursés, Mariam est à son 5ème prêt individuel qui sera utilisé pour acheter, 20 sacs de l’ail et 15 sacs de poivre, elle s’approvisionne à Siribala et Niono.
Madame Mariam vend au comptant et à crédit à une clientèle composée de femmes majoritairement. Avec ce prêt elle compte réaliser un bénéfice mensuel de 70 000FCFA, ce dernier lui servira de prendre en charge certaines dépenses familiales. Son ambition est d’avoir une maison.
