Cristobal
Cristóbal, age 47, is single and has 4 children. He lives with two of them in a village in Taulabe, Comayagua.

Cristóbal has been growing coffee for three years. The area where he lives is suitable for these crops. He sells the harvest that he gets as parchment coffee [dried, but un-hulled coffee beans] at the local market. The payment for coffee is profitable and remains steady.

He has received three loans with ODEF. He is now asking for the fourth in the amount of 22,000 lempiras. He will use the loan to buy fertilizer and for general maintenance of the farm.

This loan helped him a lot. He was able to give his crops the needed maintenance in order to get a good harvest. His goal is to continue improving his crops and to plant a little more.
