Benson is from Samburu. He is 49 years old and married. They have two young children who are in school, so both he and his wife strive to get ahead and provide their children with everything they did not have.
Benson has a food pantry in his house. Thanks to the good variety he offers, he has been able to establish a good clientele. He is a hardworking individual and says that he wants to continue growing in his current profession. For this reason, he strives to do his best.
Benson is requesting this loan so that he can invest in the purchase of beverages, milk, bread, noodles, rice, vegetables and other products so that he can continue offering his customers the variety that they are accustomed to having.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
