Kpanah lives in Sinkor, an area where the living conditions are almost like they are for people who live in the center of Monrovia. She is 38 years old, married with five children between ages of 13 to 23 who are in school and live at home. She is a 12th-grade graduate. From 2001, she has been involved in sales of rice, oil, pepper, etc. Sometimes her customers use credit and don’t pay. She learned this way of selling from her friend who she calls a motivator. She likes her business because it makes her self-sufficient. She is requesting a loan to purchase rice, pepper, oil, etc. for her business. Her plan is to become a international businesswoman.
