Lay Eng is 35 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
She has been cultivating water spinach to sell for more than two years, earning approximately $5 daily. Her husband is a construction worker who makes an income of $4 per day.
Lay Eng is requesting a loan of $400 to purchase a plot of land to expand her farming business. This purchase will help her generate more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her farming business and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
