Alihon is a 60-year-old man. He is employed as a guard in one of his village's workshops. However, his main activity is animal husbandry, which he does from home.

Alihon is seriously involved in raising sheep. Every four to five months, he takes a couple of sheep to the market, he sells them at a good price, and then immediately buys another couple of lambs to be fattened. He also shears sheep and sells their wool. With the sheep's wool, Alihon's wife also makes balls of yarn; in that case the wool is sold at a higher price. Alihon tries very hard to keep his business in good financial balance.

Alihon is now planning to buy more lambs to be sold at a premium during the upcoming national holidays. He will save his profits towards retirement and also to give a dowry to his grandchildren. He really hopes to receive some support from Kiva, in order to be able to realize his projects.
