Rosa Rubi, 47 years old, lives with her two children who still depend on her generating income that comes from making and selling homemade soft drinks that are part of the Salvadorean culture to accompany meals and refresh people in the very hot climate. She sells the soft drinks near a field (a place where children and adults play) because she makes sales that allow her to defray household expenses. She is requesting $800 to purchase chairs and tables in order to offer her customers a place to enjoy their beverages. She also wants to update her ice trays, pitchers, and banners to clean her place up and give her customers what they order when they visit.
