Virgilina is a 36 year-old married woman and a mother of seven young children, from Bien Unido, Bohol. She has been engaged in the fishing business with her husband for more than 19 years now.
Virgilina is asking for a loan to buy a new boat engine and fishing nets. With this, her husband will be able to improve his catch, thus giving them more fish to sell in the market. Virgilina hopes to make her business successful and sustainable. Moreover, she wants to save money for the schooling of her children and to repay her loan on time.
