Fatuma has been a merchant for years. She is hardworking and dedicated. Fatuma is married and has five children. Thanks to all of her efforts, her children are studying. She says that she never had the opportunity to study. Therefore, her greatest wish is to see all of her children become professionals so that they can have a better future.
Fatuma is engaged in a water selling business, supplying water to the people in her neighborhood. The loan she is requesting will be used to purchase spare parts to repair her water tap.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
