Because of her entrepreneurial spirit and her desire to get ahead she works selling various products such as wall clocks, plastic cars, rattles, porcelain glasses, wrapping paper, gift bags, night lamps, photo albums, calculators and pictures for the wall. She has been doing this activity for eight years in one of the local markets.

She will use the loan to invest in working capital to buy various products, so that in the not too far off future she can obtain better earnings. Karla Azucena is grateful for the support the Kiva lenders have provided to people of scare resources and poor countries such as Nicaragua in order to have dignified work.

Karla Azucena de 36 años de edad, casada con tres hijos de 13, 9,2 años. Originaria de Managua, lugar que está ubicado en la zona de central de la región. Karla se caracteriza por ser una mujer trabajadora responsable, con ganas de superación personal; lamentablemente por falta de recursos económico no pudo cursar una carrera universitaria, pero le hubiera gustado mucho estudiar enfermería profesional.
Gracia a su espíritu de emprendedor y sus ganas de salir adelante es que tiene por actividad económica la venta de productos varios como, reloj de pared, carros plásticos, sonajeros, vasos de porcelanas, papel de regalo, bolsas de regalo, lámpara de noche, álbum de fotos, calculadoras, cuadro de pared. Actividad que la desempeña desde hace ocho años, en unos de los mercados de la localidad. El objetivo del crédito es invertir en capital de trabajo en la compra de productos varios, para que en un futuro no muy lejano pueda obtener mejores ingresos. Karla Azucena agradece la ayuda que los inversionistas kiva les brindan a personas de escasos recursos y países pobre como es Nicaragua para tener un medio de trabajo digno.
