Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Mgii's Group's story

Mgii is a sixty-three year old dryland farmer and mother of seven children. Her husband has passed away. The greatest challenge she faces in her agricultural endeavors is the low or absent rainfall. Mgii says, "I decided to join KOMAZA so that I can get money from the sale of trees to improve myself." She plans to use the profits from her tree farm to build rental houses at her nearby trading center.

In this group: Mgii, Patience, Henry, Alphonce, Hasina, Mwenda, Richard, Amina
