Mrs. Concepción, 49, is single and has four adult children. She has been selling cream, curd and cheese in the local market for seventeen years.
Concepción was young when she started this business, an activity that she inherited from her mother. Her goal is to buy cows, one at the time, in order to improve her income, since she would not have to buy the milk from others. This is why she is requesting a loan to buy a calved cow.
