Olivia is a single mother of two children and both her children go to school. She has a beauty salon .She has applied for a loan of Uganda shillings 700,000 from MCDT-SACCO to buy more boxes of hair weaves, braids, cream relaxers and other cosmetics. She has been in this business for four years and sells to all categories of people but on a retail basis seven days a week. Her major business challenges include transportation, thieves and seasonality. She is aspiring of becoming a wholesaler and also to own a delivery van to ease transportation. She resides in a rented house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include rent and school fees.
