Reymoor is 31 years old and single. He lives in Clarin, Misamis Occidental. He owns and operates a farm to earn a living, planting and harvesting rice to sell in the local community. He has been with his business for over 3 years and earns about 20,000PHP every month.
He joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and his ability to engage in business activities. Now he has requested a loan of 25,000PHP to purchase fertilizer such as manure. He plans to use the additional revenue generated to improve and expand his business.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
