Kheang A. is married and lives with two of her children. She works as a farmer in the Kampong Cham province, typically making US$2 each day, and she is supported by her husband who works and sells land. Her husband needs a backhoe to first dig up the land before he can sell it, so the family would like a loan of $1200 to rent a backhoe. In the future, the family hopes to purchase a backhoe to work the land, but for now a loan to rent will bring an increase of income to the family.
