Dan Group
In this Group: Daneil, Abena
The group is made of two partners; namely, Daneil and Abena. Both of them reside in Glefe in Dansoman. They have been a group since 2011 to present and are doing very well. Both sell foot wear (shoes and sandals) and bags.

Daneil is a 45-year-old footwear seller. This has been his business for the past two years and it is doing very well.

Because of his integrity and frankness, all his customers have him at heart. He has been with ID Ghana for the past two years and still loves to be a part of our organization for all of his life. He has taken three loans and has fully repaid all of them.

For his fourth loan, he is requesting GHS 1,400 to help him meet his customers demands. The entire group needs an amount of GHS 2,000 to buy more goods to sell to their respective customers in and around Dansoman.

About ID Ghana

ID Ghana is a microfinance NGO that provides financial and social services to underserved urban communities in Accra. This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
