Ms Fozia is 32 years old and works from home as a tailor. She has been in this line of work for eight years now and is proud to be contributing to her household income. When Fozia didn't earn income, her family went through a severe financial crisis that compelled her to use her stitching skills in a productive manner. Fozia felt it obligatory to change her family’s living standards and started working from home when her husband divorced her and married again. Her husband also stopped providing for his family. She is a brave woman and hard work helped her establish a good clientele but she was having difficulty in fulfilling large orders. That’s when her sister advised her to borrow from Kashf Foundation. She applied a loan of PKR 35,000 and her loan will be used to purchase a new stitching machine with some spools of threads in various colors. She is in her 5th loan cycle in Kashf Foundation and has shown excellent repayment behavior.
