Ms Sharifan is a 39-year-old lady and enjoys doing hand embroidery. She started doing this work with her daughters. Her embroidery patterns are very popular in her territory. Due to the increasing demand for her embroidery designs, she is involving other women in her business. She is a mother of 6 children; her husband is not in good physical shape to support her family. She is motivated to provide her family with the basic necessities of life including food, clothes and education. In order to meet the growing demand of embroidery she needs to hire some more women. She requested a loan of PKR 40,000 from Kashf foundation. In this way she can manage to buy more frames, needles and thread in different colors with the packs of sequins and stones which will help in generating more income. She hopes to have a good experience with this new loan.
