La cliente Simisi est président et doyenne du groupe Faida. Âgée de 70 ans, Mariée, mère et grand mère de plusieurs petits fils. Son conjoint est sans emploie. La cliente est vendeuse des souliers dans un marché de la place. Elle commença son activité avec son fonds propre reçu de son mari. Il y a 5 ans révolus, elle exerce cette activité. Les défis pour cette cliente, sont les impayés et les pertes divers. Le nouveau prêt va lui servir d’acheter 30 paires de souliers. Dans le futur, elle souhaite construire une maison et accroître son capital. Ainsi, elle remercie Hekima pour son soutien financier.

HEKIMA is a microfinance institution headquartered in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with branch offices in Goma and Bukavu. HEKIMA aims to contribute to the transformation of the economic, social, and spiritual lives of the economically active poor of the DRC. To this end, HEKIMA provides its clients with solidarity group loans to support income-generating activities. Despite ongoing instability and violence in its operating areas, HEKIMA continues to keep its doors open and provide credit and savings services for its over 90% female clientele.
