Pablo Francisco is thirty years old and is the father of an eight-year-old child who is in the third grade of primary school.  

He works as a taxi driver for the community where he lives. He started working this way nine years ago. He was a junior and he took the initiative of buying his own taxi unit. 

He is now asking for a loan to buy tyres and spare parts for his vehicle and in this way provide his customers with a better service.

His future goal is to buy another taxi. Pablo Francisco is very grateful to the Kiva investors for all the help they give to poor countries such as Nicaragua.

Pablo Francisco tiene treinta años de edad es padre de un niño de ocho años que cursa tercer grado de la escuela primaria, él se dedica a brindar servicio de transporte como taxista de la comunidad en la que vive, inicio esa actividad desde hace nueve años, él era cadete y tuvo la iniciativa de comprar su propia unidad de trabajo, en esta ocasión solicita el crédito para poder comprar llantas y repuestos para su vehículo y así dar un mejor servicio a su clientela. Su meta futura es comprar otra unidad de trabajo. Pablo Francisco esta muy agradecido con los inversionistas kiva por el gran apoyo que brindan a los países pobres como Nicaragua.

Fundación Leon 2000 began operations in 1993 as the first microfinance institution to serve the western part of Nicaragua, a country which continues to be one of the poorest in the western hemisphere. Fundación Leon 2000 works to further the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises through credit services and management, applying the best credit industry practices and technical expertise. Additionally, Fundación Leon manages several business and financial education programs in the community, specifically for young entrepreneurs and at-risk youth.
