Samuel is 45 years old, married, and supports a family of ten members, with children aged from 5 to 20. He is a tomato farmer in the Naroosura area, and this has been his occupation for the last 12 years. He receives a monthly income of KES 22,000. This is his second loan, of KES 50,000, from KADET, which he intends to use to pay to rent a tractor to plough his land, and to acquire farm inputs to achieve better yields. He plans to use the anticipated profits to increase his farm acreage. His future dream is to have a sustainable business.
