Sundaymah is 44 years old and lives in Montserrado County, the largest port and number one commercial county in Liberia. She is married with seven children between the ages of 13 and 28, six of whom attend high school and one attends college. All her children live at home. She has been selling charcoal for the past 30 years. She started this business from running a restaurant, with money given to her by her husband, and now she sells bags of charcoal in her community. She gained expertise in the business from her friends. Her favorite part about her business is that it gives her good profits. She is requesting a loan to purchase more bags of charcoal to sell, in the future she wants to build a house for her children.
