Rosalina is 56 years old and married with 4 children. She lives in Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Dur. She owns and operates a fish business, selling to customers in the local community, to earn a living. She has been with her business for over 9 years and earns 20,000 PHP every month. She joined GDMPC last year to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. And now she has requested a loan of 25,000 PHP to purchase additional products to sell like fish and shrimp. In the future, She wants to make improvements to her house and to improve the general living conditions of her family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
