This loan will help Marisa renovate her restaurant and continue to cook for her community.

Embracing her Mexican roots, Marisa, a first-generation U.S. citizen looking for a means to support her family, began her own catering business in 1995. In 2002, Marisa opened her own restaurant, Tijuana’s Mexican Kitchen, in the heart of Lincoln Park, Michigan. Now, Marisa’s business is thriving and the entire family is working together to run three different locations throughout the Metro Detroit area.

Marisa loves being able to pursue her passion of cooking every day while also being able to provide for her family both in the U.S. and in Mexico. She is happy that her own entrepreneurial endeavor has become a family business that will be passed on to her children and grandchildren.

Marisa needs a loan to renovate one of her restaurants, purchase a new air conditioner and floor for the dining room, and to help maintain and expand her large catering order contracts.
