Eliab is a 42-year-old married man with five children living in Kasese, Uganda.
Twenty years ago, he ventured into events services, where he would hire out tents, chairs, bridalwear and other items. Despite the business being seasonal, he has been able to reap tangible benefits that have enabled him to provide basics to his family.
Mishandling by customers and loss of some items pose a challenge to his business, and his desire is to venture into modern agriculture and build a permanent house for a residence.
Eliab intends to use the loan to buy clothes to sell and building materials for construction of his house.
