Risper is 27 years old and single. She is a poultry farmer raising indigenous chickens. The products she gets i.e. eggs and meat, she sells to the local residents and business people. Her business is now one year old and she is getting an income of KES 12,000.
She is now servicing her second loan of KES 60,000 from KADET LTD and intends to use this loan to purchase more chicks to raise and sell later at a profit.
The amount she gets as profits will be used to repay the loan. Her dream is to have an alternative source of income.
