Safadur is 45, married, and father of three daughters, ages 23, 21, and 19. His two eldest daughters are married; his third daughter is betrothed and will get married soon. He was a songster at the wedding parties. But, after the death of his last, fourth daughter, he stopped this activity.
Today, Safadur operates a grocery store where sells consumer goods. This store is the main income to support his family. Additionally, to earn extra money, he is engaged in the sheep-breeding business.
Safadur is a hard-bitten man and always tries to do his work himself. He wants to develop the sheep-breeding business. With the loan he has applied for, he plans to buy 35 head of lambs, to fatten them, and re-sell them at the bazaar located in the district where he lives.
