Hadija is a 34-year-old married lady with two sons, who are both in school. She lives in Kaloleni, Kenya with her family. Her husband is a primary school teacher, and his income helps to support the family.
Hadija owns a retail shop where she sells household items. She has asked for a loan of 30,000 Kenyan Shillings to restock her shop with sacks of sugar, bundles of wheat flour and cooking oil.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
