Juleit is a 34-year-old married woman. She has four children who are all still in school. She lives in Kaloleni, Kenya. Her major monthly expenditure is school fees payment and food. She owns a cereal stall business where she buys and sells maize and beans. She has approached us with a loan request of Ksh 20,000 to buy sacks of beans, maize and rice. About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
