Celestine is 35 years old, married, and a mother of three children. For the last four years, she has earned a living by selling milk in Malindi. She earns a monthly profit of 19,180 Kenyan Shillings (KES).
Celestine was introduced to KADET Ltd. by our credit officer, and is applying for her second loan of 39,000 KES, to buy dairy equipment such as milk cans, milking gloves, and water cans for the cows to drink from. She will use the profits made possible by this loan to pay for her children's school fees as well as expand her farming activities.
Her goal for the future is to venture into mixed farming with a view of increasing her income so as to help improve her family's living standards.
