Constance lives in the Malindi area of Coast Province, Kenya. She is a married business lady and owns a farming business. She keeps poultry. In addition to this, she sells tap water and charcoal. The business has been running for five years. Constance has six school-going children.
Constance learned about Milango through friends who invited her to the group and she joined with the aim of accessing credit. She is applying for a loan of 62,650 Kenyan shillings to renovate the tap area and buy more chickens for resale. The extra income she earns as a result of the loan will be added to her savings to purchase more chickens and educate her children. Her desire is also to keep layer hens in the near future.
