Amina lives in Msambweni neighborhood in her own house. She is divorced.
She has had a small grocery store and vegetable shop in her house for two years. This way she helps her family get ahead. Later on she wants to expand it and be able to offer a greater variety of products.
She requested the loan to buy candy as her place is in front of a school in the area. She will also buy drinks, dairy products, and baked goods, among others.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
