Omar is married and lives with his family, he is managing his butcher’s shop that he contracted to earn his own income. From a very young age, he had to work hard and the business is growing thanks to all of his hard work and sacrifice.
Omar has a good customer base because he is a good butcher and always offers good customer service. Due to the work that he is doing, he has enough income to help his family have a better quality of life.
Omar needs the loan to buy two cows to keep working and offering a good variety of products to his customers.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
