Akram was born in 1969 in a rural area. He is married and has 4 children. He does not have post-secondary education because he was unable to study in his younger years. He earns his livelihood by repairing shoes, and he is proud of his work. He began as an apprentice in this field when he was 25 years old. For 5 years he worked with a master cobbler (mentor), then he rented his own business premises. Now his services are in big demand and he has several apprentices. However, his workshop is in bad condition and he has decided to renovate it. For this reason, Akram has approached Arvand for a loan that will allow him to buy building materials so he can fix his place of business and create a better atmosphere for himself and his clients.
