Amelita is a 34-year-old married woman from Ubay, Bohol, Philippines. She has three children. The oldest is 17 years old and the youngest is nine. Amelita has been engaged in the farming business for 20 years now together with her husband. She earns 3,000 Philippine Pesos (PHP) per month. This is the source of her income.
Amelita is requesting a loan of 8,000 PHP to buy fertilizer and medicine, which will be used in her farm to raise healthy crops. Through this loan, she will be able to buy the fertilizer and medicine so that she can harvest good crops in time.
In the future, Amelita hopes to expand her business. She also wants to send her children to school.
