Panambi is composed of twelve women who are in their eighth cycle, and continue to work hard in order to reach the highest level in the program.

One of the group’s members is Mrs. Odilia, who has been selling clothes as a street vendor for several years now. With this job, she has been able to grow and give her family everything they need to have a decent life without privation.

Mrs. Odilia says that she is requesting a loan to invest in buying all kinds of garments. She stands out because she always has a good assortment and she wants to continue doing so in order to offer her customers a wide variety and be able to continue with her business.

The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
