Don Calixto has been a farmer for 10 years. He grows coffee and sells it in cans with its parchment at the local market. Calixto has been able to keep his farm in good condition by investing several loans from ODEF. The loan he is currently requesting is his 15th transaction and amounts to 3,000 HNL. He will invest it in the purchase of compost and will also pay for labor to have his coffee farm cleared. All of his loans have helped him to maintain a good crop as well as increase his production for the next season. His plan is to see his two children, who are living at home, finish their education.
