Hicham is a 48 year old Lebanese man. He's married. He lives with his wife and two school-aged children. He's a friendly and above all hardworking man. He started his business many years ago; he owns a clothing shop where he sells a wide diversity of dresses, t-shirts, pants and many other items. He has also a tailoring machine in case some of the items needed any modification. People in his town and the surrounding areas are sure that he can offer them high quality designs at fair prices.
In order to provide the family with extra financial support Hicham requested a loan from Kiva Partner Vitas s.a.l. to increase his merchandise of dresses, pants and many other items. He seeks to open his own tailoring factory as soon as he can, hoping to enhance his family's way of living.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
