María Alexandra
María Alexandra lives in the lovely of town of El Sauce. She is a young woman, 33 years old, married, with two children. She is a Christian. From a young age she has been a diligent student and graduated with a Degree in Education. She works as a teacher in a local school.

Since she got married it has been her dream, with her husband, to have a house with all the facilities in order to provide a decent home for her children to live in.

For this reason she is requesting a loan to build a wall for the yard of her house. She will buy bricks, steel, cement and pay for labour in order to improve security for herself and her family.

She hopes and trusts in God that the Kiva investors, through Ceprodel, will finance her loan so that she can carry out her objective. And she thanks those kind-hearted people in advance for the support that they give to people with scarce resources who, due to their salary, cannot cover these expenses.

About Housing Loans

Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
