Fatuma is a resident of Kisauni, Kenya. She is a charcoal seller and has been doing this business for four years. Fatuma is married and the mother of two children.
Fatuma is asking for a loan of 30,000 Kenya shillings to purchase new stock of charcoal to sell.
Despite the challenge of the high cost of transportation, Fatuma believes the business has a future and in addition to getting the income to educate her children, she looks forward to owning a vehicle (canter) to transport charcoal to other areas.
