Mgala is a 42-year-old man. He is married to Mary and blessed with two children, ages 15 and 17, a boy and a girl who are both in school. He lives in Tiribe, Kenya in his own home. His major monthly expenditure is school fees for his children.
He owns a retail shop in which he sells household goods. He has requested a loan of 20,000 KES to buy sacks of sugar and maize flour and bundles of wheat flour.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
