Hamida lives in Likoni with her husband and three children. She started her business four years ago because she needed to sustain her household but was not earning an income. For this reason, she began investing in the sale of charcoal.
One obstacle is that she does not have a place for her merchandise. Since her business is located in her home, this proves to be a bit difficult. She works alone without having support from anyone. As a result, she can earn more income to pay for her household expenses.
With this loan, Hamida will buy sacks of charcoal for resale. In the end, she will have more income and more customers.
