Age 49 and a mother of one schoolgirl, Sreynit is a rural villager from Kampong Cham province. She has owned three business, rice cropping, animal raising, and clothes selling. Engaging in this business for eight years, she is able to earn about USD $3 per day. This is the second loan for Sreynit. She has repaid back her first loan already. The first loan enabled her to better support her farmland, cover the daily food consumption in her household, and keep her children in school. Now, she has a good standard of living. She will use her loan to buy clothes and shoes for resale. She hopes this will help her to make more profit so that she can cover her child’s education and set aside some money in order to buy a decent motorbike to support her business as well as her family.
