Amina lives in a rental house in Likoni and is married. She has had a small store for the last three years. Her husband is a businessman and they have two children who attend primary school. The loan that she is requesting is to invest in the purchase of noodles, rice, sugar, and other foods for her store.
She is a very hard-working and entrepreneurial person, who with time and effort wants to move forward and be a great micro-entrepreneur. She is grateful for the help that she is receiving, and the loan will be of much help.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
