Edmundo, 28, is married and has two children, ages 2 and 1. He sells cattle at different fairs in the city of El Alto. He lives in Batallas, and he raises his livestock on land he owns at the summit. This is his first loan cycle with the institution.
Edmundo will use the loan to buy cattle to later take to different fairs. He needs the loan because he lacks working capital. At times, he has little customer demand due to poor weather or lack of transport, which present challenges to his business. He would like to buy a bigger truck one day to transport more cattle.
