Sophia, 35, is married to Josephat who is a businessman. They have 2 children, and Sophia and her husband are always working to give them the best.
Sophia was previously as a farmer. Later she started buying and selling fruits and vegetables. Today she is very pleased with everything she has accomplished, because she was able to build a commercial space at the front of her house where she set up a store that is well-stocked with fruits and vegetables, and she says that she has a very good customer base.
She is requesting a loan to buy consumer staples so that she can stock up her store with good products. She wants to buy drinks, bread, fruits, vegetables and other products.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
