Rehema is a 35-year-old, hardworking lady who is married with two children. She lives in Likoni, Kenya where she has a clothing stall where she sells second hand clothing.
She has operated this business for the last two year. This has helped her gain a lot of experience. She has also been able to get a wide variety of consumers. Her major monthly expense is school payments.
She has requested a loan in the amount of 40,000 KES to reinvest in her stall and buy two bundles of second hand clothing. She is grateful for such an opportunity and believes that this will enhance her business hence improving her living standards.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
