Mariam is 41 years old and lives with her husband and children. The major monthly expenditure is fees as her children all are in school.
She is a hard-working business lady who owns a clothes stall where she sells clothes for adults and children. She has been in this business for more than two years and has gained great sales experience that has helped increase her customers and income.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
