Provia started the project in 1996 with one acre of coffee, but currently she owns two acres of coffee and bananas. She has achieved a lot from the yields, like constructing a permanent house for her family and sending three of her children to school.
Provia wants a loan of UGX 1,000,000 to buy fertilizers for her banana and coffee plantations. This will enable her to realize high yields to support her family with the basic necessities of life. Her major challenge is the decline in soil fertility to support coffee-growing on a large scale.
Provia’s dream is to see all her children graduating from university and getting good jobs. She is a hardworking and resilient lady.
